The First Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Wales.

St. Ephrem Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Cardiff is an independent church affiliated with the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in India, which recognizes Holy Apostolic See of Antioch and all the East, His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II as its supreme head and His Beatitude Catholicos Baselios Thomas I as the spiritual head in India. In the year 2022, faithful Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Christians who had migrated to Wales from different parts of the world decided to form a congregation “St. Ephrem Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church”, to serve the Lord in the traditional Orthodox faith and to keep this faith going into the future generations.
